OUTRIDERS CLASSES UPGRADE
Sometimes you need to upgrade your gear to the maximum current item level (re-running Expeditions on a lower Challenge Tier) and try again. When reaching end-game and going into Expeditions, don't tilt when you dont go up in Challenge Tiers every single Expedition. Generally, I always say to just keep it at WT1 for a first playthrough and enjoy the, in my opinion, amazing storyline while playing the class that seems most fun to you :) Also, this is probably the most gorgeous game I have ever played, don't rush it, I'd say.

However, if you do not upgrade your gear and don't have a build with at least some synergy, expect a hard time. Difference between playing on highest WT possible and just keeping it on WT1 is that loot will be better (more legendaries & higher item level). If you're fine with just playing on WT1 (or not on maximum at all times), any class will do. If you want to play with the highest World Tier possible during your playthrough, I'd say go Technomancer or Trickster. Even in duos/trios I consistently deal a ton of damage and am able to hop around the battlefield, burning elites/bosses down in seconds. Trickster is my favorite, especially solo, an absolute menace.

Has a lot of diversity in builds, most of which are considered 'meta.' Some people just want to see the world burn. Pyromancer is a lot of fun, but somehow I don't quite like it as much in duos/trios. This is just my feeling, but Devastator also feels the clunkiest and slowest of all 4 classes. I would agree that Technomancer is probably the easiest class to pick up.ĭevastator is naturally tankier, during my playtime, I've not really felt it, but the numbers are there. As people say, it comes down to preference.
